IgG Food Sensitivity Test
If you are suffering from digestive upset, bloating, indigestion, diarrhea or constipation you may have a food sensitivity. This is different from a Food Allergy because a Food Sensitivity is a delayed reaction to food particles we consume and can develop later on in life. A Food Allergy is an immediate reaction that has a more anaphylactic response and is usually something we are born with and one that is unlikely to be cured. One approach to determining food sensitivities is a 4-week hypoallergenic diet. I have also had success with my 7-day intense detox but when we start reintroducing foods again the exact food you are allergic to may be hard to determine because remember, these reactions are delayed and a reaction may develop within the first 30min to 3 days. If you sensitive to the major allergens: gluten, cow dairy or eggs, then the hypoallergenic diet may be all we need to test. If you are sensitive to something less common like almonds, garlic, pineapple, etc. then food reintroduction can be more convoluted and will take much longer to introduce every possible food one by one anticipating a reaction.
For a more quantifyable result, we offer the IgG Food Sensitivity Test which measures your immune response to 96 different foods, including the most common allergens. This test is done in-office (see video above), requires only a finger prick (not a blood draw) and the results are returned in 3-4 weeks.
Great test for young children, especially those suffering from skin rashes, digestive upset or mood disorders.
