Naturopathic consultations are classified under private medicine are NOT covered by OHIP. Most patient will pay out of pocket for our services or try to get as much covered through their extended health insurance plans.
We ask you start with an initial visit (60-75min) which is $185 and automatically includes  enrolment into our MAXIMized Health Method online program ($300 value)*.
If you’d like to meet our team first, we do offer FREE Meet & Greets both in-office and virtually.

Yes! We offer both!

Our physical locations are located in Caledonia and Oakville but we are able to treat patients virtually all across Ontario.

Most patients choose a hybrid approach depending on the nature of the visit.

If you live outside of Ontario, we cannot provide individualized consultations, but we have many other resources for you to engage with our team (The Maxim Movement on FB, @themaximmovement and our online course: the MAXIMized Health Method)

We are covered by most extended health insurance plans (Manulife, Sun Life, Canada Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield, Industrial Alliance, Empire Life, etc.).
We are also set up for direct billing.
Before investing, please do call your insurance plan to find out your annual coverage and inquire if “Diagnostic Testing” is also covered.

Yes! We are fully set up to direct bill most insurance companies.

Keep in mind that we are not responsible for knowing your annual coverage nor will we guarantee that our services will be partially if not fully covered.

Supplements are NOT covered by insurance plans, and will be an added investment, if needed.

Nope! We are proud to offer our unique team-based approach to our patients healthcare. Our entire team works collaboratively so each patient is getting 3 naturopathic doctors for the price of 1.

Dr. Andrea offers the out-of-office support via Instagram, Facebook, Webinars, GAT Protocol Member support and she manages all patient and team communication while maintaining her high-standards of care.

The in-office team completes all of the consultations, lab work and treatment plans.

We are using medical grade anti-bacterial wipes to disinfect all surfaces. Guards are up around the reception desk. Wait times in the waiting area are kept to a minimum, with rarely more than 2 people in the space at one time. Our entire team wears masks throughout the appointments, as well, as reception.

Proof of vaccination is NOT required to enter the premises.

If you are feeling under the weather, we encourage your in-office visit to be scheduled as a virtual visit instead to avoid any cancellation fees. If that is still not possible due to the nature of the visit (requires in-person only), then we will reschedule to another date and time. 

The clinic has a strict cancellation policy in place.

This policy is in place to make sure that we maintain our high standards of patient care, while also being respectful of the time invested by the practitioner and potential revenues lost.

Last minute cancellations (within 24 hours of the booked appointment time) or “no shows” will immediately be charged 100% the cost of the visit via credit card on file/ over the phone.

These appointments will not be charged to your insurance.

This cancellation policy will also be enforced with programs offered and other services (i.e. infrared sauna).

To minimize unnecessary charges, we are using online booking confirmations, automated e-mail and text reminders and virtual consultations when in-office is no longer an option. Of course, if there are extenuating circumstances that require you to cancel within this time frame, these will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

We strongly encourage you to reach out immediately when you have a question or blocker. It is our intention to get you feeling better yesterday, and while we can anticipate most discomforts, we also appreciate how difficult it can be to make health changes at first.

We can’t support what we dont know, so we ask all patients to fully invest in the treatment plans given to you and ASK, ASK, ASK when you need help!

Dr. Andrea is not taking on new patients at this time, while she focuses on raising her two, beautiful girls (and navigating work-life-mom-school balance during the pandemic)

That being said, she has personally trained and continues to mentor her team. She is still fully engaged in the patient experience and continues to work behind the scenes to improve our transparency, optimize our treatment plans, optimize our GAT Protocol and offers many ways to which she can support you directly:  via Instagram, Facebook  and live Webinars/Masterclasses.

 

Yes! We pride ourselves on being very data-driven in order to provide you with the fasted and most targeted results.
Here’s a list of the most common lab testing that we provide, all of which are included in our GAT Protocol:

  • IgG Food Sensitivity Testing (120 to 200 food antigens)
  • Electrodermal Food Sensitivity Screening
  • Organic Acids Metabolism Urine Test
  • Complete DUTCH Hormone Testing (Cortisol, Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEA)
  • CHI Urine Hormone Test
  • Complete Thyroid Blood Panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Anti-TPO, Anti-TG and Reverse T3)
  • GI MAP Diagnostic Stool Test (Measures all markers of GI Function, Good bacteria levels, opportunistic bacteria levels, pathogenic viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungus, dysbiosis)
  • Live Blood Analysis
  • 2-Hour Insulin-Glucose Challenge Blood Work
  • Routine Blood Work (Almost all labs that can be run through Life Labs or Dynacare)

We have also had a lot of success claiming these lab tests through most extended health insurance plans.

Blood work can take 48hours up to 2 weeks to be fully completed. Our more comprehensive diagnostic tests (DUTCH hormone panel, GI MAP test for example) can take 4-5 weeks for results to be sent back to the clinic.

Taking blood or urine samples in-office is outside of our scope.

If you are getting blood work done, you will receive a requisition for Life Labs and can book your appointment to complete the blood work on their online site.

Our functional tests are provided as take-home kits with instructions to complete at home and mail away with the way-bill included in the kit.

Once we receive the lab results directly, we will upload to your protected electronic medical record (via Jane App) visible for you to access anytime.

Life lab blood results will not be available on the Life Lab portal like your MD results. Again, results need to come directly to our practitioner and will be uploaded into Jane and you will receive a notification.

We will also most likely book you in for a review of your lab work so we can fully explain your results (30-45min).

All of the testing we offer come from accredited labs. Combined with our extensive medical knowledge, we interpret the labs based on YOUR case, not just based on the lab standards. We also have advanced knowledge on functional ranges, not just reference ranges, to enhance our treatment plan once the lab results are received.

The Caledonia practice opened up in 2011 and the Oakville office in 2019. The team collectively has over a decade of experience.

Our team is available:

  • Mondays: 1-6pm
  • Tuesdays: 12-8pm
  • Wednesdays: 9am-7pm
  • Saturdays: 8am-3pm

Exact times vary by location.

Yes! Both locations have a very large free parking lot. Spaces are very easy to find.

No problem. We have many patients who are happy to pay out-of-pocket for our services. We accept all methods of payment.
